Motor & Gearbox Refurbishment
The Motor and Gearbox are two of the hardest working components of any Escalator. Glass Replacements including Emergency Boarding
We offer a bespoke measuring, manufacture and fitting service to replace any shape or size of damaged glass balustrade panel. These works are most frequently carried out in 2 stages. During the first emergency visit our engineers will clear all broken glass, template and install a temporary wooden panel. Following manufacture, a 2nd site visit will be arranged to return to site to remove the temporary wooden panel and install the new toughened glass panel.

Step Refurbishment and Replacements
We offer a range of solutions for step refurbishments ranging from a simple clean to a full refurbishment including sand blast, welding of damages flutes, powder coating, demarcation lines and replacement rollers.
On occasions where the steps are damaged to an extent where they can no longer meet EN115 safety standards, we can offer a full replacement service. We often carry this out as a supply and fit service but can also offer labour only replacement solutions. We keep most types of steps in stock and available for immediate dispatch to our customers.
Full Drive End Removal, Refurbishment & Reinstallation
Depending on the type of escalator and type of drive end installed, we offer various solutions for the removal, refurbishment and reinstallation of these components. Whether a smaller head shaft bearing replacement, or a full overhaul of the internal drive system is required, Go Escalator Services Ltd possess the skills, knowledge and equipment to carry out all such repairs. This type of work is usually bespoke to each type of escalator and the unique site requirements.
